On the way to New York. I have a 2 day "offsite meeting" hosted by my bosses' boss. Then on Wed, he is also hosting lunch.

Ya lor. Nahia, this company, got to bodek the big guns. When they invite u for such boondoggle events, u better show face and show respect man. I bet u the sessions will be boring, but the important thing is just to show face and create contacts.

That's the difference in a user organisation. Totally not dependent on pure skills, but on who you know and whether u can get folks to do you a favour. So here I am, blowing RM15,672 for a round trip biz class ticket for this.
